This is the Auxbuss demo of HALion2 Unleashed. The only HALion2 tutorial available in the world.

If you can see this text, then either you have Javascript switched off in your browser or you do not have a Flash browser plug-in of version 6.0 or higher, which would be unusual for most modern browsers. In either case if you can't fix the problem, then please post a message on the forum and we'll endeavour to sort you out.

HALion Unleashed CDROM demo

Welcome to the demo of HALion Unleashed.

The HALion Unleashed navigator (above) is the gateway to all of HALion Unleashed's content and features.

There are three tutorials in the demo for your entertainment and evaluation. The full product has a total of fifty tutorials that run for a total of 2 hours.

The demo tutorials provided are:

All I see is a blank rectangle.

HALion Unleashed was written using Macromedia's Flash. Flash was chosen to allow us to support Windows and Mac platforms in a simple way, and to allow us to stream HALion Unleashed over the Internet.

For HALion Unleashed to work correctly, support for Flash is required in your browser. Most browsers (e.g. Internet Explorer and Opera) support Flash by default, so this should not present a problem. However, if your browser does not support Flash natively, then you will need to visit Macromedia's web-site for instructions on how to enable Flash support.

You might also be running an Internet content-muncher that rejects Flash, in which case you will either need to switch it off while exploring HALion Unleashed, or configure it to allow HALion Unleashed to pass through unimpeded.

Getting started

After the startup presentation, you can click anywhere to open the main interface. To the left are the chapter and topic menus, and the transport controls.

You select chapters using the top-left section of the navigator. Each chapter contains a number of topics, and these are shown below the chapter titles - changing each time you select a new chapter.

In between the chapter titles and topics are the movie controls. These allow you to start, stop, go to start and end, and nudge a movie backwards and forward.

Once a movie is selected, as well as using the transport controls, you can also stop and start by clicking in the HALion Unleashed area. You can also use the slider to position yourself anywhere in the movie. The total movie time and the current time are shown to the right.

Enjoy.
