This is the Auxbuss demo of Cubase SX3 Unleashed. The best Cubase SX3 tutorial available in the world.

If you can see this text, then either you have Javascript switched off in your browser or you do not have a Flash browser plug-in of version 6.0 or higher, which would be unusual for most modern browsers. In either case if you can't fix the problem, then please post a message on the forum and we'll endeavour to sort you out.

Cubase SX3 Unleashed demo

Welcome to the demo of Cubase SX3 Unleashed.

The SX3 Unleashed navigator (above) is the gateway to SX3 Unleashed's content and features.

There are ten tutorials in the demo for your entertainment and evaluation. Three in the Introduction section that explain the use of the Navigator and the scope of topics covered, and seven others:

The full product has a total of 117 tutorials that run for over eight hours. This is just the start, however, since tips and tutorials will be added periodically, as will others to the main sections, where the need arises.

In addition, customers have access to their own private forum, where they can make suggestions for additions, improvements, or script tutorials themselves, which we can then add to SX3 Unleashed.

Help! Where's the menu?

The menu appears when the mouse is towards the left of the screen... and disappears when the mouse is towards the bottom of the screen. This allows you to open and close the menu without additional clicking and do so very quickly.

You select chapters using the top section of the navigator. Each chapter contains a number of topics, and these are shown below the chapter titles - changing each time you select a new chapter.

Getting started with Cubase SX3 Unleashed

After the startup presentation, you can click anywhere to open the main interface - the Navigator (or Nav, as we call it). To the left are the menus - there are three of them.

You can access the three independent menus - Main, Basics and T&Ts (Tips and Tricks) - by clicking on their labels.

In the footer area of the Nav you will find the movie transport controls. These allow you to start, stop, go to start and end, and nudge a movie backwards and forward.

Once a movie is selected it will start playback automatically. As well as using the transport controls, you can stop and start by clicking in the Nav footer area - try clicking on the words Cubase SX3 Unleashed during playback. You can also use the slider to position yourself anywhere in the movie. The total movie time and the current time are shown to the right.

Enjoy.

Problem: All I see is a blank rectangle!

SX3 Unleashed was written using Macromedia's Flash. Flash was chosen to allow us to support Windows and Mac platforms in a simple way, and to allow us to stream SX3 Unleashed over the Internet.

For SX3 Unleashed to work correctly, support for Flash is required in your browser. Most browsers (e.g. Internet Explorer, Firefox and Opera) support Flash by default, so this should not present a problem. However, if your browser does not support Flash natively, then you will need to visit Macromedia's web-site for instructions on how to enable Flash support.

You might also be running an Internet content-muncher that rejects Flash, in which case you will either need to switch it off while exploring SX3 Unleashed, or configure it to allow SX3 Unleashed to pass through unimpeded.

If you need further help, then please don't hesitate to contact us, and we'll try to assist.
